CSR
Our Corporate Social Responsibility
At CATA Energy Co. Ltd, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond renewable energy generation, it extends to uplifting the communities we serve and preserving the environment for future generations. We believe in responsible business practices that deliver lasting social, economic, and environmental benefits.

Africa Health Power Initiative (AHPI) is the CSR and impact delivery platform of the Africa Green Transition PPP Fund (AGTPF), led by the Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS) in partnership with CATA Energy. AHPI deploys integrated off-grid renewable energy solutions to strengthen primary healthcare, improve water access, enable clean cooking, and build climate resilience in vulnerable African communities.
Through solar PV, battery storage, clean cooking systems, digital monitoring, solar water pumps, and community energy hubs, AHPI addresses critical gaps in healthcare electrification, maternal and neonatal care, vaccine cold chains, diagnostics, and emergency services while reducing dependence on diesel and biomass. The initiative also extends clean energy to schools and rural livelihoods, supporting food security through solar-powered water systems.
Reforestation and watershed restoration are embedded within deployments, reducing deforestation, restoring ecosystems, and generating long-term climate benefits. Anchored by AGTPF’s blended-finance architecture, AHPI transforms clean energy into a scalable social-impact engine delivering measurable outcomes across health, water access, off-grid resilience, clean energy, and nature-based solutions at continental scale.
